MakoSolutions budget managed servers are perfect for high traffic websites, large businesses, or to start your own web hosting service. A dedicated server allows you to manage all aspects of the environment including operating system configuration, applications, and permissions. With one of the control panels available for purchase, you can control all account related functions form one central location. Sometimes a virtual hosting or VPS plan is not enough, and for the price some other companies charge for just a reseller account or large VPS server you can have your own dedicated server.
MakoSolutions will provide a server with configured hardware and software ready for deployment. All servers utilize only name brand components and Intel processors for reliability and stability. All hardware is maintained by on-site staff, and every server is monitored 24x7. The network currently uses transit and transport provided by Global Crossing, XO Communications, Cogent Communications, BTN/PCCW, and Frontier/Commonwealth Telephone (CTSI).
Your hosting agreement with MakoSolutions includes system administration, but excludes any and all custom/individual development work. Maintaining your dedicated server is simplified through the use of one of the many control panels which are available for purchase; cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, and ServerCP.

Each UNMETERED server is connected to a Full-Duplex 10MBPS or 100MBPS switch port, which is connected to a bandwidth pool shared by each specific type of UNMETERED clientele. 10MBPS UNMETERED servers on average can transfer between 2000GB-3000GB per month in both outbound and inbound directions. 100MBPS UNMETERED servers on average can transfer between 3000GB-5000GB per month outbound and 15000GB-20000GB inbound. The bandwidth allocation is not guaranteed/dedicated, and is supplied on a "best-effort" basis---which may result in some slowdowns during peak traffic times. NO OVERAGE FEES REGARDLESS OF USAGE.

We can also set up third-party software according to our current support policy/rates. Installation with control panel software typically adds a Mail Server (SMTP), Statistic & Log Analyzing Software, Administration Scripts, Supported Software Upgrades, and much more.
IMPORTANT: Client is responsible for providing installation software and keys/licenses for ALL Microsoft and third-party software required to be installed, if not purchased thru MakoSolutions. *Full management is only included with Linux based plans. Windows Server 2003/2008, while offered, comes with limited support.
